@DanX sorry for the delay here, dang work travels and life getting in the way.. if you use the toolkit, you have to switch to community scanner tab, press F8 in game (windowed mode generally works best as full screen may make it disappear) then draw the window over the almanac. Press F5 to scan -- generally in theory it'll parse that and show you the results, then you have to click submit

Are we allowed to utilize the API to create our own apps to update information using our generated api key? For example, tesseract doesn't play nice with wayland so I was just gonna make a little gui with tkinter that has dropdowns for the options for stuff (outside of barters because holy). That way I can easily update pgemissary when I'm playing through geforce now or on my home pc.

yeah sure have at it! I'm no expert in app creation and I know there are better methods, if you can use the api to do things better, by all means! :)
